Mathematical Monday- Dripping Springs Area Home Prices

I‘ve been looking at the MLS (multiple listing service tool) this morning, as I do most every morning. I was checking out the median* home price statistics for the Dripping Springs Independent School District from January 2007 through January 2017. As you can see, the overall curve is rising.

A highly-rated school district coupled with desirable Texas Hill Country views, dark skies, and ‘country air’ bring people to this haven. Dripping Springs began as an unincorporated ranching community in 1854, and remained unincorporated until 1981. It is now rapidly becoming a suburb of Austin.

The potential new development in Dripping Springs is astonishing. Click on the link to see what is already happening, as well as what is planned.

My office assistants do a lot of work for me in the background, but it is guaranteed that I’ll be the one to answer the phone when you call.

If you want me to do statistics for your part of the Austin area, leave me a comment and tell me what you’d like to know.
